Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth food operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, a passion for hospitality, and a strong commitment to food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, preparation, and customer service within a dynamic team setting.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation according to established standards
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Take customer orders accurately and process transactions efficiently
- Maintain a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service
- Restock supplies and ensure the dining area is clean and organized
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or barista roles is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
- A genuine interest in hospitality and providing positive guest experiences
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.35 per hour
Work Location: In person
