Introduction:
Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.
Description:
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations related to food and beverage service across our outlets.
Graze: - Overlooking our Living Reef lagoon, our modern Australian bistro restaurant offers daily buffet breakfast as well as à la carte specialties.
Salti: Our beachfront restaurant overlooking the pool, Salti Kitchen & Bar offers a culinary voyage where the freshest Whitsunday seafood meets the timeless flavors of the Mediterranean, creating a dining experience that is truly a celebration of coastal life.
Infinity: With expansive views of the Whitsunday Islands, this restaurant offers an inspiring Asian-inspired dining experience that is a feast for all senses.
About the role...
- Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.
- Lead our front-of-house team to deliver a seamless experience for all guests
- Training of new team members to Daydream Island service standards
- Ensure quality control of all food and beverages to guests
- Previous Food and Beverage experience within a similar environment
- Bar or Barista experience is desirable
- Genuine passion for the hospitality industry
- Proven leadership skills
- Confident communicator with excellent time management skills
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong product knowledge across food & beverage.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends
