Food Counter Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with exceptional service while ensuring that food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering high-quality food service.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Ensure all food items are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety.
• Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members positively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
