Calling All Kitchen Rockstars! Somerset Lakeside Resort is looking for Food Handlers to join our kitchen crew this summer! We’re a modern, family-owned, lakeside resort just outside of Bancroft, and our guests love a good meal almost as much as they love the lake. Whether it’s hearty breakfasts, casual lunches, or dinner by sunset, you’ll help us deliver satisfying food all season long.
If you know your way around a kitchen and like the idea of working in a chill, supportive environment (with a lake view!), this might be your perfect summer gig (June - November, Opportunity to extend)
RATE OF PAY: $20.00/hour + TIPS
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and cooking meals according to our menu
- Following safe food handling and kitchen hygiene practices (Food Handler Certificate required or willing to obtain)
- Helping with food prep, portioning, and plating
- Keeping your areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Communicating with front-of-house staff to keep service smooth and timely
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous kitchen experience is great, but we’re happy to train the right person
- OSSD or equivalent
- Team player – reliable, respectful, and ready to jump in where needed
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Someone who enjoys a bit of fun while getting the job done
