Foreperson - Minor Works

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Foreperson to join our Northern Maintenance team in Christchurch to lead our awesome crew of 2, with a particular focus on footpath works and emergency response works.

A focus on health and safety is imperative to this role, as you must assist in driving a strong safety culture in all day-to-day operations.

About the role:

• Liaising with our Opex Manager for project planning and pre-commencement documentation
• Maintaining health and safety onsite
• Managing onsite work scheduling and logistics
• Site establishment
• Undertaking various types of civils work: Minor drainage works, Footpath works, and Emergency response works

About you:

• Minimum Full Class 1 license
• Relevant industry experience in road maintenance
• Proven experience leading crews on site
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
• Be a team player
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead by example
