Forest School Leader Required

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our school as Forest School Lead. We are looking for a full-time candidate to lead the Forest Schools Programme within our school, ensuring all lessons are well prepared and resourced. You will work with an experience Forest School Assistant and join the Cradle Hill School Community.

Cradle Hill Community Primary School is a happy, thriving, highly inclusive and caring community school. We have high aspirations and expectations for our children. We are a popular three form entry school in Seaford and pride ourselves as a true community school, we work as a team and have supportive governors and parents.

As part of this role you will promote, develop and plan our well-established Forest School.

The successful candidate will:
Hold a Forest School Leader’s level 3 certificate.
Hold a current Forest Schools approved first aid certificate.
Be experienced as a Forest School Lead including leading activities in school groups in our forest area in all weather. Be responsible for supervising the group and accompanying adults.
Have a good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations within the school.
Have knowledge of policies on Safeguarding, Child Protection and behaviour policies.
Have knowledge and understanding of the Forest School Ethos and ability to apply this throughout all working practice.
Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the role of risk assessment at Forest School and maintain up to date records for this.
