Manually plant trees using a planting spade
Carry out spraying with knapsack and fertilizing as required
Perform general maintenance of existing plantations, including grass clearing and filling in gaps
Follow all company health & safety procedures and site-specific guidelines
Undertake manual handling tasks and outdoor physical work in all weather conditions
Travel daily to various sites across the west and north west
Work as part of a small, professional team delivering high-quality results
Report any site issues, hazards, or equipment needs to the supervisor
Requirements:
Physically fit and accustomed to manual outdoor work
Highly motivated and able to earn well through individual effort (paid per tree)
Previous experience in forestry, landscaping, agriculture, or outdoor manual work (preferred but not essential)
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather
Full driving licence essential
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Safe Pass, Manual Handling, or relevant forestry certificates (advantageous; training provided)
Ideally residing in the west or north west to minimise travel
Chainsaw experience preferred but not essential.
Climbing experience is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €28,000.00-€63,543.03 per year
