Job Overview
HRA Recruitment are seeking an FLT Counterbalance for our client in Halesowen, West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for the right person working for a well established company.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from lorries.
• Move products within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organisation.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Utilise basic maths skills for inventory management and materials handling tasks.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
