Forklift Driver/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to efficiently move materials and products throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move fencing panels and other materials.
• Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and accurately.
• Organize and maintain the yard, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Submit completed paperwork accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding daily tasks and issues.
• Assist with general labor tasks as required, including cleaning and organizing supplies.
• Maintain perfect attendance and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification
• Class 5 License
• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Forklift: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (required)
