Forklift Operator (Dangerous Goods)

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator for a Gas Company.

Position: Forklift Operator

Job Type: Full-Time/ Temp. to Permanent

Shift:

• Afternoon Shift/ 3 pm - 11 pm

Job Duties:

• Preparing equipment to begin a production cycle
• Altering and controlling machine parameters (e.g., speed)
• Inspects the cylinder's label, valve, and all other components as well.
• Supplying components or raw materials to partially automatic machinery
• Follows the guidelines set forth by Linde Plc for the secure handling, nesting, and storing of cylinders.
• Receives all items in accordance with the prescribed written procedures.
• Examines and records the correct calibrations of analytical equipment such as thermometers and gauges.
• Fills, weighs, and records cylinders according to predetermined standards.
• Before cylinders are released, conduct all necessary pre-fill and post-fill checks and tests.

Job Requirement:

• Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of work experience as a Counterbalance Propane operator.
• Must have experience handling dangerous goods.
• Must have a valid forklift license and dangerous goods handling certification.
• Applicants must be adaptable and prepared to put in extra hours.
• Should be able to lift upto 50 lbs.

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

• 8 hour shift
