Formal Verification Director

Job Description


Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and leading a team of talented engineers? Join us as a Director of Formal Verification Engineering, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our IP and SoC designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Direct and manage a team of formal verification engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Process & Tools Deployment: Implement and oversee advanced formal verification processes, procedures, and tools, leveraging the latest models and algorithms.
  • Expertise & Guidance: Provide subject matter expertise in formal verification principles, methods, and industry best practices.
  • Verification & Testing: Work closely with design and microarchitecture teams to identify and resolve design bugs, enhancing overall microarchitecture
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Manages stakeholders, works with respective IP/SoC teams, keeps them updated on the progress, and drives problem scoping and solution.
  • Team Enablement: Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.
  • Inspiration & Development: Inspire your team, model company values, develop team capabilities, and ensure a productive work environment.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in the industry.
  • 8+ years of experience with RTL languages like System Verilog or VHDL.
  • 8+ years of experience with assertion languages like SVA and formal verification.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of formal verification technology, including model checking.
  • Strong knowledge of computer architecture, digital design, and verification methods.
  • Experience in research within the formal verification domain.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $214,730.00-$303,140.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
