You’ll be joining as our Founding AI/ML Engineer, leading the development of the models and systems that will power this transformation. From model selection and fine-tuning to deployment and scaling, you’ll own the AI stack end-to-end, working side-by-side with our CEO and founding team to push the boundaries of what’s possible in AI-powered product creation.

You will not be training complex, large scale models or building data pipelines. Most of the work will be AI model fine tuning (+some classical ML) and developing agents for creative problems in design and product.

• Classical Machine Learning working on memory, recommendations, personalization, or search.
• Someone who has worked on building AI Agent products

• Build and ship early-stage AI/ML systems that directly impact our users.
• Prototype quickly, experiment boldly, and turn ideas into real, working features.
• Choose the right models, train best in class design taste models, deploy them, and keep them running at scale.
• Work closely with founder, product, and design to shape our roadmap.
• Push the limits of what’s possible with generative AI, personalization, and intelligent retrieval.
• Set best practices in AI/ML engineering and help grow the team.

Seniority

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer,​ with work on AI or Machine Learning products

Work experience

• 2+ as a Machine Learning engineer building for production features OR 1+ years of experience building agentic workflow products at a relevant startup in the space
• Has shipped 0-​1 consumer focused products/features
• Experience at a startup/early-​stage company

Education

• CS,​ math,​ or similar degree

Hard skills

• Strong Python skills with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Specific experience with recommendation,​ personalization,​ or search systems (look for things like retrieval,​ ranking,​ reranking,​ memory,​ vector search.​.​.​)

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year

Experience:

• shipped 0-1 consumer focused products/features: 2 years (Required)
• Python skills with PyTorch or TensorFlow: 5 years (Required)
• AI model fine tuning: 3 years (Required)
