Founding Operator
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000
Location: San Francisco, CA (In-person) Employment Type: Full-time
Make Meaningful Moments Happen We are an AI-powered platform building the future of in-person connection. Our software handles the complexity of planning corporate events—from executive offsites to global conferences—making it easier for teams to meet up in real life. We’ve already planned events for world-class companies like Google and Amazon, and we’re just getting started.
The Role This is a zero-to-one operations role. You will take messy, fast-moving workflows and turn them into systems that are simple, teachable, and scalable—without losing the human care that defines us. You’ll sit at the intersection of ops, product, dev, and customers, helping us move faster and cleaner as we grow.
What You’ll Do
- Event Ownership (80%): Manage the end-to-end ops flow for multiple events simultaneously. You’ll be the point person for prioritizing urgent issues and maintaining on-brand verbal and written communication with clients.
- Scalable Infrastructure (20%): Partner with engineering to translate customer feedback into product requirements (Linear/Jira). You will turn "tribal knowledge" into playbooks, onboarding docs, and templates that anyone can use.
- Process Evolution: Continuously identify what should be simplified, automated, or eliminated. You’ll be building the systems that the rest of the company will eventually run.
Requirements
- The Startup Mindset: You are "scrappy," take extreme ownership, and want to shape how a company operates rather than just following a manual.
- Complexity to Clarity: You have a proven ability to juggle multiple workstreams and turn chaos into organized, documented processes.
- Client-First Grit: You understand that high-stakes events can occasionally require late nights or weekend work to ensure success.
- Communication & Judgment: You communicate thoughtfully and have a strong intuition for customer experience and boundaries.
- Attention to Detail: You have an "extreme" eye for detail—nothing slips through the cracks.
- Bonus Points: Startup zero-to-one experience, comfort with basic SQL/data analysis, and experience using AI tools to replace manual, repetitive work.
Benefits
- Compensation: $90K–$130K base + 0.25%–1% equity (flexible based on experience).
- In-Office Perks: Free lunch and dinner provided daily in our SF office.
- Travel & Access: Quarterly team offsites (most recently at the White Lotus S3 hotel in Thailand) and exclusive access to top-tier venues and travel experiences.
- Wellness: Monthly fitness stipend and comprehensive health insurance.
- Time Off: Generous PTO (with required time off to recharge) and 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
- Growth: High autonomy and direct access to the founding team.
