Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our Framing crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and a passion for building high-quality homes. As a Framer, you will be responsible for working with the team on site, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in reading blueprints and being able to layout will be essential in executing projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble walls, floors, and roofs.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete framing tasks.
• Concrete forming as required for various projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety on the job site.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing duties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter or framer with a strong understanding of construction processes. Being able to think on your feet to figure out the best solution as there are many ways to frame houses.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading is essential.
• Familiarity with concrete forming techniques is preferred.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
• Valid drivers license with vehicle as you may be needed at multiple sites in the same day.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
