Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves framing structures, working with various materials, and ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. A commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and attention to detail is essential.

Duties

• Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to construct frames for buildings and other structures.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as required for foundation work.
• Engage in restoration projects, ensuring that existing structures are repaired or enhanced according to specifications.
• Install siding and other exterior finishes as part of the framing process.
• Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to move materials and equipment on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
• Strong carpentry skills with experience in woodworking techniques.
• Familiarity with concrete forming and finishing processes.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of various hand tools and power tools used in construction.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed throughout the workday.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Must own transportation to commute to work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
