Guydeez is seeking passionate and knowledgeable locals to join our team in Melbourne. As a host, you will lead private and personalized walking experiences for small groups of travelers who are eager to explore the city beyond typical tourist paths.

You do not need to be a professional tour guide. We are looking for individuals who genuinely love Melbourne and enjoy sharing it with others.

Position Details

• Compensation: 200 AUD per day, plus bonuses and performance-based incentives

• Schedule: Flexible – you choose your availability

Key Responsibilities

• Lead immersive walking experiences across Melbourne’s neighborhoods, landmarks, and hidden spots
• Share stories, cultural insights, history, and food recommendations with travelers
• Tailor tours to fit the interests and pace of each group
• Provide excellent customer service and create warm, engaging, and memorable experiences

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Melbourne and a passion for sharing your city
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Chinese are a plus
• Friendly, reliable, and personable with strong communication skills
• Comfortable hosting experiences ranging from 3 to 8 hours
• Prior experience in tourism or hospitality is a plus, but not required
