Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing freight logistics, and providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management, enabling them to effectively coordinate transportation and logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their freight needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers to secure the best possible pricing for clients.
• Manage the logistics of shipments, including transportation planning, dispatching, and tracking.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations and improve overall efficiency.
• Provide account management support by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth within the logistics sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or sales management within the logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including transportation planning.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes in freight agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building relationships.
• Proficient in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing accounts.

Pay: $1,750.00 per month
