Responsibilities

• Identifying prospective carriers to build a pipeline of service providers
• Booking freight service through carriers for clients
• Gathering information from clients to determine shipping needs
• Coordinating the pickup and drop off shipments
• Monitoring the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive promptly and undamaged
• Advising clients on potential supply chain issues

Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems is a plus
• Be able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written fashion
• Proficiency required in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
