Currently, we are recruiting a flexible French Instructor for our Calgary Language Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure quality delivery of the lessons
• Execute instruction
• Commit to providing the highest quality of service to both external and internal customers

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

• Deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles focused on the interests and needs of the client, working one-on-one and with groups of different sizes at the Learning Centre and/or remotely online (depending on the student's request)
• Keep learner records and profile cards up to date.

QUALIFICATIONS/RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Native proficiency in the French language (required)
• Experience in teaching French to adults (required)
• Flexible availability to work weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings (required)
• Availability to teach in-person and online (required)
• Experience and knowledge in TEF, TCF or government SLE examination (preferred)
• University degree (ideal minimum)

Salary: $17.5 per hour

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Languages: English and French

Work location: Calgary's Learning Centre and Remote/Online if necessary
