Fresh Food Area Manager (Own car essential)

€40,000 - €50,000 DOE

Management of fresh food departments across a group of stores, continuously innovating to grow sales, margin and to enhance standards whilst maintaining best practice

The ideal candidate would be an experienced Deli Manager (5+ years) wishing to progress their career.

Applicant must have the following,

· Fresh food knowledge and a real passion for food

· Experience in people management and team building

· Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment

· Experience in successfully achieving sales targets and KPI's

· The candidate must be fully HACCP and food safety trained, and has experience in meeting the HACCP and food safety requirements, and as such, has a proven track record in passing audits

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· IT literate and experienced in Microsoft Excel & Word

· Applicants must have their own vehicle to travel between 6 stores.

Main Duties:

· Ensuring highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness are maintained.

· Responsible for training existing and new team members

· Ensuring the team are fully HACCP and food safety trained

· Ensuring that all fresh food departments are legally compliant

· Completion of margins, correcting any issues and reviewing in a proactive manner

· Achieving excellence in customer service

· Ensuring that all stores pass their food safety audits

· Reviewing the stock levels in each store

· Producing a weekly margin

· Controlling wastage in the fresh food departments

· Ensuring that cost prices are accurately maintained and the margin availability of the fresh food departments are correct.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
