We are seeking a driven, passionate, and experienced Deli/Fresh Food Manager to lead the operations of a, high-quality deli department. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food quality, excellent customer service, and a proven ability to lead and develop a team. You will be responsible for driving sales and margin while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Indeed +4Key Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including food prep, stock management, and merchandising to ensure exceptional presentation of the deli serve-over.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage a team to provide excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
• Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, and Health & Safety standards.
• Sales & Growth: Drive sales and maximize margins through effective stock control, waste management, and identifying opportunities to boost revenue.
• Customer Focus: Create a welcoming environment and build a loyal customer base.

Requirements

• Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a supervisory or management role within a deli, retail fresh food, or food service environment.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• A passion for food and high-quality presentation.
