Freshtoday are a dynamic, fast-paced company, servicing the whole of Ireland with Healthy School Lunches. Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting nationally for Canteen Operatives with fantastic opportunities for successful candidates.

Freshtoday are looking to hire a Canteen Operative to join our expanding team and working in Kilbride National School, County Meath

The successful candidate will be required to work five days per week (Monday – Friday) 09:00- 13:00 approximately. These hours are subject to change depending on school demand/lunch schedule and will be confirmed at time of interview.

Minimum Requirements:

· Leaving Certificate or equivalent QQI award

· 1+ years experience in a service based role

· MUST be living within a 20-30 minute commute of Kilbride National School

The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate they are/have:

Essential Criteria:

• Highly organised
• Self-motivated
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures and processes
• Work well on their own or in a team
• Basic IT Skills Essential (email, MS Excel, MS Word, etc...)
• Must have good problem solving skills
• Must be friendly with a positive attitude
• This role requires standing throughout your shift and lifting of oven trays and food boxes. Applicant must be physically fit, without neck, back or shoulder problems.

Desirable Criteria:

• Deli/canteen/food service experience a distinct advantage
• Level II or III Food Hygiene/Food Safety Management a distinct advantage but not essential as training will be provided

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the role, all successful candidates will be required to obtain full Garda Vetting.
