FRONT COUNTER / OUTSIDE SALES

Job Description

Northern Metalic Sales in Dawson Creek is seeking a personable Inside / Outside Sales Representative with experience in industrial sales & customer service.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Welcome customers to the store & provide assistance with product features & location;
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered & discuss available options;
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases & returns;
- Input sales orders & quotations; maintain & follow up on orders;
- Accurately handle cash & account payment processing;
- Answer phone inquiries;
- Help set up & clean displays as needed, ensuring sufficient stock is available;
- Comply with inventory control procedures;
- Maintain a clean & organized work station;
- Adhere to safety regulations;

Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Rep or similar role;
- Basic understanding of sales principles & customer service practices;
- Sales-driven with a passion to learn;
- Knowledge of industrial products & tools preferred
- General computer skills, proficiency in English, basic math skills;
- Friendly & energetic personality with customer service focus;
- Accuracy & attention to detail;
- Able to perform under pressure & address concerns/complaints in a timely manner;
- Effective time management & ability to meet deadlines;
- Demonstrate innovation & well-developed problem-solving skills;
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb;

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 32.00 – 40.00 per week
