Front Desk Agent

As a Front Desk Agent at The ClockTower, you'll:

• Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
• We see some reoccurring guests but most of them are new to us each day.
• It is important to remember that even though we do this every day, this is the first time they are seeing us, and they are probably on a special trip. It is important to make it memorable to them.
• Check guests in and out with a friendly flair.
• Sell rooms like a pro.
• Solve guest problems with a can-do attitude.
• Answer the phone and make reservations.
• Keep things clean and organized.

Pay attention to the little things. Details matter. Getting to know our customers can be what elevates a transaction into hospitality.

We are a good place and offer a great value…you just need to be able to get our potential guests to see ourselves the way we do.

If it is in the here and now or is something you can deal with proactively, using your best judgement based on company and department guidelines to help our guests is critical.

It is a multi-line phone system, expect it to ring off the hook when it is busy. You are expected to call people back.

The first thing many guests will see is you, in your lobby. Set the tone for the rest of their experience.

If you're a people person with a knack for problem-solving and have valid driver's license (with a clean driving record and can pass pre-employment drug screening), AND are interested in being hospitable we want you!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
