Damara Day Spa at Fallsview Casino Resort is currently looking for a Spa Receptionist to join the team. While working in our growing business this position will entail strong multitasking skills, excellent organization, a thorough understanding of our retail products (training provided) and an ability to command the front desk.

The right candidate must be passionate about delivering the ultimate spa experience for our guests.

Our Spa receptionist is responsible for

- Greeting clients: Warmly welcome clients, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
- Scheduling appointments: Manage bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling for spa services.
-* Check-in/check-out*: Process client arrivals and departures, handle payments, and update records.
-* Answering phone calls*: Respond to inquiries, take bookings, and provide information.
- Email management: Handle email correspondence, confirm appointments, and send reminders.
-* Client data management:* Maintain accurate records, update client profiles, and ensure confidentiality.
- Service knowledge: Familiarize yourself with spa services, treatments, and products to make recommendations.
-* Upselling/cross-selling:* Promote special offers, packages, and retail products to enhance revenue.
-* Cash handling:* Process transactions, manage cash, credit card sales, and operate a point-of-sale system.
-* Team communication:* Collaborate with spa therapists, managers, and other staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Inventory management: Monitor and report on retail stock levels, supplies, and equipment.
-* Maintaining facilities:* Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable. Assisting co-workers with laundry etc. Opening and closing shifts procedures needs to be followed.
-* Handling complaints:* Resolve client concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
-* Promoting spa events:* Inform clients about special events, workshops, and promotions.
-* Following spa policies:* Adhere to confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety guidelines.
