We are looking for a talented Front End Developer to join our team. The Front End Developer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front end technologies and a passion for creating high-quality user experiences.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years experience with JavaScript (including ES6+) and at least 1 year experience with TypeScript and React
• Expert understanding of web markup and theming, including HTML, CSS and preprocessors such as Sass
• Experience with Bootstrap
• Fluent in English with excellent communication
• Help plan, design, build and review reliable, scalable and accessible websites
• State management experience, e.g. as Context API, Redux and MobX
• Proficient understanding of asynchronous requests and API integrations (including tools such as Axios)
• Understanding usability concerns and experience in delivering standard, compliant and accessible solutions (WCAG)
• Proficient understanding of command-line build utilities and task runners like npm and Webpack
• Understanding of version control systems, including Git
• Experience writing unit tests using test frameworks, such as Jest
• Familiarity with browser testing, debugging and using tools such as BrowserStack and LambdaTest

Good to have:

• Experience with D365 Commerce and Microsoft Site Builder
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Lifecycle Services (LCS) and its associated ecosystem
• Experience with developing commerce solutions
• Knowledge of other modern frontend technologies (Vue.js, Angular, etc.) and associated frameworks (Next.js, Remix, Gatsby, etc.)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Experience with current CMS and e-commerce platforms, highly preferred on one or more of Elastic Path / AEM / Hybris / Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) / Drupal / Magento / Builder.io.
• Full stack familiarities such as Node.js
• Knowledge of common design patterns and methodologies
• Familiarity with DevOps such as Kubernetes, Jenkins and Docker
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
• Agency or consulting experience is a bonus, as are strong client communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of partial page updates, SEO optimisation & SSR, and page performance troubleshooting & optimisation

• Confident in taking new development and delivering software on time
• Work in a fast-paced development environment, interacting with product owners, business analysts, testers and developers
