Castle Leslie Estate is looking for a polite, professional, and attentive Front Gate Attendant to be the first point of contact for all guests arriving at the estate. This role focuses on delivering a warm welcome, managing guest access, and ensuring smooth communication across the team. This role is predominantly weekends.

About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome all guests warmly as they arrive at the estate, providing an excellent first impression.
- Check bookings for accommodation, equestrian activities, dining, or events to confirm access.
- Direct guests to the correct location on the estate, including The Lodge, Castle, Equestrian Centre,
- Verify availability by contacting the bar/restaurant team for guests seeking a table without a booking.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to manage guest flow and ensure accurate information is provided.
- Monitor entry and exit of vehicles to maintain safety, security, and smooth traffic movement.
- Maintain a tidy, organised gate area that reflects the high standards of Castle Leslie Estate.
- Assist with guest queries, offering helpful and friendly guidance at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Strong customer service skills and a welcoming manner
- Clear communication and good telephone/radio etiquette
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy arrival periods
- Attention to detail when checking bookings
- Experience in hospitality, customer service is an advantage but not essential
