Taz Kamar Hotel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Front Office Executive to join our premier hospitality team.

Location: Chennai

Salary: Rs.18000/- - Rs.23000/- per month

The Role

As a Front Office Executive, you are the key point of contact for our guests, responsible for ensuring seamless operations and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership potential, and a passion for personalized guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations: Lead by example to provide anticipatory and personalized service throughout the guest stay, handling all requests and complaints with professionalism, efficiency, and a focus on resolution.

Operations Oversight: Manage and oversee all check-in, check-out, and room-changing procedures, ensuring accuracy in billing and adherence to brand standards.

Cashiering and Auditing: Perform daily cashier duties, process payments, post charges, and assist with night audit procedures when necessary.

Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with Housekeeping, Concierge, and Maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest issues are resolved quickly.

Safety & Security: Be thoroughly familiar with all hotel emergency procedures and ensure guest security is maintained at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Front Desk or Guest Services role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.

Proven ability to handle challenging guest situations and resolve conflicts effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficiency with Hotel Management systems (HMS) SKYHMS added advantage.

Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Preferred:

A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management.

Knowledge of a second language.
