Front Office Manager

Job Summary
The Front Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and overall guest experience at our hotel. This position is responsible for overseeing front office staff, managing guest services, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily front office operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Train, mentor, and manage front desk staff to provide exceptional guest services.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
  • Oversee the management of reservations and room assignments.
  • Ensure accurate billing and payment processing for guests.
  • Maintain knowledge and execution of hotel policies, procedures, and create SOP's as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor front office performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
  • Experience in front desk operations, including familiarity with phone systems and reservation software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understands revenue management and forecasting and
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members towards achieving operational goals.
