Front Retail Staff – Bakery & Café

Location: Carlton North, VIC
Employment Type: Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Front Retail Staff member to join our busy bakery & café team.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service and helping create a welcoming café experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take customer orders and process POS/cash payments
• Serve bakery products, cakes, pastries, sandwiches and beverages
• Prepare and serve coffee and other drinks when required
• Pack customer orders and takeaway products
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented display area
• Restock products and assist with daily bakery/café operations
• Handle customer enquiries and provide product recommendations
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Work efficiently during busy periods

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills
• Is friendly, positive and well-presented
• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Can work confidently in a busy environment
• Has good attention to detail
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Has previous bakery, café, retail or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)

Barista experience is an advantage.
