We are seeking an Accommodation Assistant to join the team at the Keadeen Hotel.

Duties

Guest Room Servicing

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms daily to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and replenish amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues, missing items, or damage to the supervisor promptly.
• Handle guest belongings with care and respect privacy at all times.

Public Areas & Hygiene

• Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, staircases, lifts, and guest lounges.
• Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-presented throughout the day.

Linen & Supplies

• Manage linen trolley and ensure stock of towels, linen, and guest supplies.
• Report low stock levels and request replenishments as needed.
• Assist in laundry duties when required (collecting, sorting, or folding linen).

Guest Interaction & Support

• Greet guests courteously and respond to any requests or queries in a helpful manner.
• Inform the appropriate department of any guest complaints or feedback.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Fire Safety policies.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with training and company guidelines.
• Wear the correct uniform and maintain a professional appearance.

General

• Attend departmental briefings and training sessions as required.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and support colleagues.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment
• High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure
• Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
• Flexible to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays
• Shift-based role including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Uniform and training provided

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From €14.45 per hour
