Right at Home is looking for an outstanding Scheduling Coordinator Assistant to join our Team!

Right at Home is a private-duty home care agency with over 700 offices across the world. Right at Home is a Fortune 500 company and has been nominated in the Top 10 Best Franchises to work for. We are currently seeking a Full Time Assistant Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

The Full Time Assistant Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for support in scheduling care professional staff while also providing customer service support to our clients. The Assistant Scheduling Coordinator also assists with data collection for Long Term Care clients.

This position requires availability in office Monday - Friday from 8am -4pm.

How you will make an impact:

  • Works collaboratively with our Care Professionals in matching them with clients to strive for consistency in care
  • Works with the Staffing Coordinator, maintaining excellent communication channels between clients, Care Professionals and office staff
  • Notify clients of any changes to the Care Professional’s assignment or time changes
  • Receives call outs and works in system to fill shifts while keeping clients updated
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Document all events within our system in regard to Care Professional activity, shift cancellations and additional shifts requested by client
  • Perform other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing
  • Submits documentation on behalf of long-term care clients
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required:

  • Great work ethic with excellent skills in written and verbal communication
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and professional while maintaining a sense of urgency with tasks
  • Highly organized, customer service experienced with an emphasis on multitasking
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems, and other health care industry related software

What you will need:

  • High school diploma required; Associate or higher degree preferred
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Knowledge of scheduling required
  • Knowledge of the Harford & Baltimore County regions
  • Phone etiquette
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in fast-paced office environment

PREFERRED: Minimum two years experience in high paced office setting. Customer service experience and/or call center experience welcomed.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
