Wanda’s Pie in the Sky is a long-standing, busy bakery/café located in the heart of Kensington Market! We are seeking a baker’s assistant with experience preparing a variety of baked goods, including pies, cookies, croissants, and other small pastries, to join our diverse and well-established team.

We are a scratch bakery led by a small, diverse, and well-established team. Scratch baking knowledge is a must. We need a hard working and responsible individual with a passion for baking.

The ideal candidate will possess:

· 1-2 years of professional production baking experience. Pie experience is an asset!

· Maturity and ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

· Baking diploma a preferred asset.

· Ability to take direction and work well in a team with a positive attitude.

· Fluency in English is essential.

Your weekday responsibilities will include assisting with pie production, mixing doughs, baking cookies and squares, and assisting our production manager with various baking tasks throughout the week. Weekend responsibilities include maintaining inventory for our retail store by making cream pies from scratch and baking off croissants, cookies, and fruit pies.

We offer great day shift hours, starting between 8:00am-9:00am on weekdays and 7:00am-8:00am on weekends. Hours will range from 6-9 hours per day or 30-40 hours per week. Daytime, weekend, and holiday availability is a must.
