Full-Time Caregiver - Brookfield, Wi (Req Id 006)

Fun, fulfilling, life-enriching opportunity to share your gifts with a wonderful faith based christian family in Brookfield that is looking for a Caregiver for their 20 year old special needs son who has cerebral palsy and is quadriplegic. They are flexible on having the Caregiver live in the home or outside the home. If they choose to live-in, they will have their own space in the home with their own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. A vehicle will also be provided by them. They are looking for someone with a positive attitude, fun, creative, and lots of energy. Must have experience working with special needs children or adults, and must be CPR certified.

$25-$35/hour; preferred candidates with RN, PT, OT, SLP, or CTRS designation/licensure.

They are looking for someone to really be a part of their family and that wants to participate in things like dinner at the table. Must also be a christian or comfortable with living with a family that is passionate about their faith. They have great longevity with previous Caregivers, and are great employers. They also have a dog, so they need someone that is pet friendly.

*Please note, if they do live-in, no additional people or pets are allowed to accompany the caregiver.*

Requirements

• At least 1 year of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
• Experience with special needs care
• RN, PT, OT, SLP, or CTRS designation/licensure
• Can make at least a one-year commitment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Legal work authorization in the U.S
• Ability to pass a background screening
• Non-smoker/Vaping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Every weekend
