We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role involves carrying out a range of cleaning tasks across both office and factory areas, including general cleaning duties as well as occasional heavy-duty work where required.

You’ll play an important part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the site.

Job Description:

Office, Canteen & Toilet Areas:

• Vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, and wiping surface areas, floors, and walls
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, skirting boards, and low-level walls
• Restocking toilet paper, hand towels, soaps, and detergents
• Restocking PPE and hand sanitizers as required
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher and maintaining it (cleaning filters, adding salt and rinse aid)

Factory Areas:

• Working at height to clean high walls and ceilings,
• Cleaning of floors, walls, skirting, doors, ceilings, and sink areas
• Ensuring correct use of cleaning equipment and approved chemicals
• Disposing of waste from bins and containers
• Refilling chemical containers for use on factory floors and in toilets
• Completing cleaning records and documentation in line with food safety and health & safety protocols
• Complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food hygiene regulations, and site-wide health and safety standards

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience (especially in a food production or factory environment) is an advantage
• Comfortable working across varied environments and handling both light and heavy cleaning duties
• Understands or is willing to learn food safety protocols and health & safety procedures
• Physically fit and able to work at height when required
• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Shift: Tuesday to Friday 11 am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 6pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €13.50 per hour
