The Fitzgerald Group are hiring a full-time, multi-site Health and Safety manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across all hospitality venues.

About The Role
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the workplace.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
- Training: Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for staff.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of any health and safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyse health and safety performance metrics.
- Audit: Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on health and safety performance and incidents.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide authoritative advice on health and safety management issues.
- Certifications: Valid HACCP/Level 4 Food Safety Management or equivalent.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team to uphold high health and safety standards.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve health and safety issues.
- Proactive: Ability to anticipate potential risks and implement preventive measures.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: This role involves working closely with the Managing Director, General Managers, and Executive Chefs to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- Travel: Will require travel to various hospitality venues across the region.
Required Criteria
- Valid HACCP / Level 4 Food Safety Management essential
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in a health and safety role

Salary
