Full Time Health Care Assistant

BeWell Healthcare, a respected and established healthcare provider in England, is currently seeking committed Support Workers to join our dynamic and professional team.

We are looking for individuals with excellent verbal communication skills and experience in elderly care. As a healthcare assistant/support worker, your responsibilities will include administering medications and delivering routine bedside care. We seek organized, detail-oriented candidates who can effectively meet patient needs and ensure no task is missed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly with patients and their families.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities.
  • Report significant changes in a patient’s condition or requirements to physicians.
  • Record and monitor vital signs such as temperature and blood pressure.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, medications, allergies, and reactions.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

  • Emergency First Aid Awareness
  • Infection Control
  • Food Safety Awareness
  • Person-Centered Awareness and Communication
  • Health and Safety
  • Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
  • Autism Awareness
  • Learning Disabilities
  • PBS (Positive Behavior Support)
  • NAPPI (Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention)
  • Medication Administration
  • Epilepsy Awareness
  • Moving & Assisting of People (including Loads)
  • Equality and Diversity
  • Dementia Awareness
  • Fire Prevention and Equipment

Required Compliance Documentation:

  • Valid Photo ID
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Work Permit (if applicable)
  • Clean and valid DBS Certificate
  • Updated CV
  • Two satisfactory references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift
