Full-Time Remote Creative Manager (Italy)

The Creative Manager will help the Creative Director ensure efficient workflow management, adherence to priorities, and timely resolution of issues. They will be responsible for supervising content creation and optimization tasks for designated brands, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering collaboration and accountability within the team. The Creative Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and providing regular feedback on team performance.

Daily Tasks:

  • Manage all operations under their assigned team, ensuring priorities are followed and issues are resolved within set timeframes.
  • Ensure seniors understand their roles and responsibilities in content creation.
  • Closely work with Admin Assistant - Tasks to ensure all launch tasks are in the Priority sheet with deadlines and people assigned, and coordinate with the Admin Assistant - Assets for the resources needed to complete each task.
  • Ensure launch tasks in ​the Priority Sheet are endorsed for the client's approval on time, personally sending the endorsement messages via Email and Slack.
  • Ensure links to the approved content are endorsed by any Senior to the AP Slack Channel, tagging all team members involved and sharing the screenshot (email or Slack).
  • Ensure that the Creative Briefs are followed to a T during content creation.
  • Ensure seniors comply with SOPs set in place.
  • Oversee the progress and completion of content creation & optimisation tasks, ensuring priorities are followed.
  • Ensure every content produced upholds the high standards of Ares Projects prior to endorsement to the client.
  • Highly encourage collaboration and accountability to members of the team.
  • Closely collaborate with team members to ensure everyone involved is kept in the loop — every detail or content change/request: Creative Managers, major details, changes, or requests: Creative Director.
  • Promptly communicate with team members, acknowledging messages on Monday.com, Slack, and Emails — ASAP for urgent and important tasks and within 24 hours for other tasks.

Weekly Tasks

  • Review and filter Creative Requests on Monday.com, making clarifications, ensuring acknowledgments from seniors have been made, assigning tasks, tagging the Admin Assistant - Tasks within 4 hours for urgent tasks, 24 for high-priority tasks, and 48 hours for medium to low-priority tasks, and confirming the urgency of the tasks with the Creative Director.
  • Track the performance of the Senior Copywriter and Senior Designer through KPIs and scorecards and provide detailed feedback.
  • Conduct an L10 meeting with their assigned team and ensure a record is available for reference.
  • Lead the Weekly Sync, following the agreed workflow, and provide an icebreaker for the week in the engagement channel

Monthly Tasks

  • Conduct 1-on-1 video calls with team members you're accountable for.

Ad Hoc Tasks

  • Provide the Creative Brief for content creation, to be approved by the Creative Director and sent to the AP channel.
  • Provide updates and POAs to the Creative Director for intradepartmental and interdepartmental issues — whether resolved or not.
  • Provide timely support to the Creative Director or other directors for client calls by giving updates to the portfolio prior to the call.
  • Promptly report backlogs/bottlenecks to the Creative Director with POAs included.
  • Conduct content / creative alignment calls with clients via calls, provide a summary in the client channel once done, and share the recording and summary in the AP Slack channel as well.
  • Carry out and provide training materials, references, recorded videos, etc., to their assigned team for upskilling or process streamlining, to be approved by the Creative Director.
  • Take over optimisation tasks due for the day/s in the absence of their Co-Manager.
  • QA the template tasks assigned to the Senior Copywriter and Senior Designer under their team as needed.
  • Promptly communicate (within 24 hrs) and closely work with clients for any creative/content concern, reporting to the Creative Director and coordinating with other seniors for support when necessary.
  • Approve Overtime and time off requests of the seniors and team members under their assigned team, guaranteeing that deadlines can still be met.
  • Assist with recruitment as requested by the Creative Director.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Creative Manager or in a similar role within an agency for at least 5 years.
  • Previous experience working in eCommerce, particularly Amazon, would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Amazon copywriting is essential.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, etc.
  • Understanding of branding, content creation, and digital marketing principles.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
