This position in the Computer Security and Privacy group led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Delphine Reinhardt offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to pursue a doctoral degree in an interdisciplinary research environment.
Your profile
- A very good M.Sc. degree in robotics, human-computer interaction, computer science, artificial intelligence, or a closely related discipline,
- Strong programming skills, ideally with experience in relevant frameworks,
- Experience in designing and conducting user studies and/or empirical evaluations,
- Solid background in one or more of the following areas: robotics, machine learning, human–robot or human–computer interaction, security and privacy.
- Ability to conduct independent scientific research, along with strong commitment, team orientation, and communication skills,
- A very good command of both English and German,
- Strong interest in pursuing a doctoral degree and contributing to high-impact research in human-robot collaboration.
Your main responsibilities
- Conducting independent research partly funded by the interdisciplinary Science Space entitled Sustainable Human-AI Collaboration (NaMeKI) ( https://www.nameki.de/ ).
- Publishing and presenting the obtained scientific results in international peer-reviewed conferences and/or journals,
- Supervising student assistants and student projects in this area,
- Active support in teaching activities according to §31 NHG and examinations.
