Job Summary
Woodland Park Christian Learning Center is seeking an energetic, dedicated, and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working with young children, developing engaging curricula, and promoting literacy and math skills through innovative teaching methods. The Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of students.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management.
• Assess and monitor student progress in literacy, math, and other subjects, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development, classroom activities, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
• Support children with special education needs by adapting teaching methods to meet individual requirements.
• Organize and participate in school events and parent-teacher conferences.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience in daycare or preschool settings is required.
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Ability to develop engaging curricula that foster literacy education and math skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff members.
• Familiarity with special education practices to support diverse learners effectively.
• Creative problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the classroom setting.
