How will the role impact Slash?

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Engineer that has expertise in Python and Generative AI . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in developing AI-powered applications and a passion for creating cutting-edge solutions. This position will be a full-time contractor engagement with a minimum duration of two to three months temporary contract, with the possibility to extend .If you're passionate about working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements

How do you know if you are a good fit?

• Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent




• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with strong expertise in either Python, Integration with ChatGTP, or Google Gemini API, other GenAI Related




• Possess hands-on experience and good technical skills with proven track records in knowledge of:




• RAG Embedding and retrieving with at least vector DB (ideally PostgreSQL - pgvector)




• Open Source Ollama




• Development using StreamLit (Chat elements)




• LangChain




• Experience in Docker and strong AWS experience




• Good understanding of Agile Methodology, modern application development, infrastructure security and compliance




• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills




• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability




• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering




• Strong experience in working in an agile environment. Agile and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
