Fully Qualified Motor Technician needed in Kildare

At T.P. Waters Kildare we are recruiting a fully-qualified, experienced Motor Technician to join our existing Service team.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, repair and service customer cars.
• Complete all work to a high standard adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Partake in and remain up-to-speed with manufacturers technical updates and training.
• Complete road-testing and ensure thorough quality control checks are carried out for each job.
• Adhere to dealership policies and standards in maintaining a clean, organised work space.
• Deal with customers, management, brand representatives and staff in a courteous and professional manner.

The successful candidate will have:

• 2-3 years post apprenticeship experience.
• Experience working with Mazda or SEAT brands an advantage but not necessary as full training will be given.
• Experience in full servicing, engine overhaul and diagnostics.
• Produce high-quality work with excellent attention to detail.
• Be a team player who works well with colleagues and management.
• Have strong problem-solving skills and work well under pressure.
• Full, clean driving license
