We're seeking an experienced Functional Lead to join our Business Technology Services team at the Department of Internal Affairs. In this role, you'll lead Dynamics and Power Platform developers while ensuring our D365 implementations align with the business needs.
Job Description
Bring your Power Platform and Dynamics expertise to the Department of Internal Affairs. Work with our stakeholders and guide our team in delivering digital solutions for New Zealand. As Functional Lead, you'll use your knowledge of D365 modules to transform business requirements into software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn business needs into practical solutions while being the go-to person for technical discussions and business stakeholders
- Keep our projects on track by working closely with product, business and our vendor stakeholders
- Help establish best practices and standards, making sure we deliver quality solutions
- Lead and grow a team developer, and foster a learning, knowledge-sharing and collaborative environment
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Deep understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform
- Strong experience in the Power Platform tools especially Power Apps and Power Automate
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering successful outcomes
- Experience in analysing business requirements and translating them into designs and user stories
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- NZ citizenship and ability to obtain a confidential security clearance
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, or relevant work experience
