Fund Development and Grants Manager

WILDNorth looking for a full-time Fund Development and Grants Manager to join our team. In this position, you will work with our leadership team to understand our financial needs, research grant opportunities, and write compelling grant proposals to acquire funding. You will also engage stakeholders/donors, and develop and manage special events and other fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify grant funding opportunities
  • Write, submit, and manage corporate and foundation grant proposals
  • Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents
  • Create and deliver post-funding appreciation letters
  • Manage current fundraising programs
  • Develop and implement new fundraising initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in grant writing and fund development
  • Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals
  • Great with MS Office Word and Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources
  • Exceptional organizational and writing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, communications, or non-profit management preferred
  • Native Alberta wildlife natural history knowledge is an asset

This is a full-time 40 hrs/week, salaried position. The role features a flexible in-office and work-from-home schedule, a robust vacation allowance, and employee benefit package.

Remuneration: $40K annually

Projected start date: January 2025
