As a Fund Servicing Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational services related to fund accounting and administration. Your work will have a meaningful impact within our department, as you apply your broad knowledge of fund servicing principles and practices to perform diverse activities requiring analysis and judgement. Job responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end counterparty reconciliation across derivatives, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with Fund Accounting, Middle Office, and external counterparties to drive timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Apply deep understanding of the NAV lifecycle and fund services operations to validate breaks and challenge inconsistencies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable remediation to prevent recurring breaks.
  • Ensure adherence to risk, governance, and audit requirements, strengthening the overall control framework.
  • Prepare and deliver MIS, KPIs, and performance metrics (e.g., break aging, volume trends, SLA adherence, root cause themes).
  • Leverage Alteryx and Tableau to automate data aggregation, build dashboards, and enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Present insights and key trends to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, themes, and actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years’ experience in counterparty reconciliation or fund services within financial services.
  • Exhibit strong understanding of derivatives, fund structures, NAV calculation, and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Manage high-risk and complex breaks independently with proven expertise.
  • Utilize Alteryx and/or Tableau for data analysis, automation, and visualization.
  • Apply strong knowledge of controls, risk management, and audit expectations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Operate TriResolve or similar reconciliation platforms with proficiency.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of derivatives (IRS, CDS, FX, etc.) and lifecycle events.
  • Drive process re-engineering, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Convert data into meaningful insights for leadership with a data and insight orientation.
  • Exhibit strong analytical rigor in problem-solving and root cause identification.
  • Deliver high-quality outcomes consistently under tight timelines.
