Full Time Gallery assistant and picture framing consultant with retail experience required.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate with work as part of a small team in charge of running our city centre shop. Duties involve selecting suitable frames for a variety of different styles and mediums of artwork, sales of work from the shop and from an online catalogue, inspection of framed works prior to collection, answering of queries online and on the phone, cash handling, day to day maintaining of the shop floor, end of day cash balancing procedures.

Qualifications

• A creative person with a genuine interest in Art and Design and a desire to learn the custom framing process
• Someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and to problem solve
• The ability to work independently or as a team player.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of ownership and accountability.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and environment
• Strong attention to detail, especially when calculating measurements
• Fluent Oral and written English essential
• Excellent communication skills
• 2 years retail experience essential

Schedule:

• 8 Hour Shift
• Day Shift
• 5-Day Work Week (Monday-Saturday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.15 per hour

Work Location: In person
