About the Role:


For our game GamePoint Bingo, one of the largest mobile social bingo games in the world, we are looking for a creative and empathetic (Game) Community Manager for the German market with a natural passion for casual mobile games.

You’ll be part of our International Community team, where your specific focus will be expanding the German Community. GamePoint Bingo boasts a large, loyal, and highly active community of players who come online daily for a friendly game of bingo. You are a creative all-rounder who understands that our community is a fundamental part of the success of GamePoint Bingo.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Engage with the Community: Through chat, social media, WhatsApp (and Discord) to proactively build, expand and maintain a strong community. Answer questions, approach new players and solve problems.
  • Moderation: Monitor (chat) discussions, enforce rules, manage a team of chat moderators (volunteers) and address toxic behaviour to maintain a healthy community environment.
  • VIP Management: Identify, nurture, and manage relationships with VIPs and big spenders. Provide them with personalized experiences, exclusive offers, and direct communication to ensure their continued loyalty.
  • Events: Organize (regional) in-game events, contests, giveaways, live entertainment and celebrate regional holidays (with potential influencers/partners) to keep the community engaged and excited.
  • Content Creation: Create and share content regarding game updates and events like news articles, social media posts, videos, newsletters and WhatsApp community notifications to keep the players informed and engaged.
  • Community Sentiment: Collect feedback from players about the games, updates and overall satisfaction through surveys, Q&A sessions, app reviews, test panels, direct communication, chat analytics, volunteer reports and social media.
  • Brand Ambassador & Player Representative: Represent the voice of players within the company, advocate for changes, features or updates that meet the needs of the community.
  • Crisis Management & PR: Take care of game maintenance, bugs or negative publicity by communicating effectively and proactively. Manage the situation to minimize damage (including out of office hours).

This is Who You Are:


  • Experience in Community Management/Communication — Ideally, 3+ years of experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills — You’re an excellent speaker and writer in both German and English, able to communicate effectively and with compassion.
  • Management Skills — You have experience directly managing volunteers and can coach, guide, and develop our moderation team.
  • People Person — You enjoy responding promptly to comments and thrive in daily communication across various channels.
  • Professional and Calm — You handle stressful situations well and remain composed when problems arise.
  • Self-Starter — You embrace challenges, take initiative, and can independently carry out tasks when needed.
  • Time Management — You’re a multitasker who seamlessly switches between tasks, even when faced with unexpected player or moderator queries.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented — You excel in organizational skills, both online and offline, and can work responsibly and meticulously.
  • Passionate about Gaming and Social Media — You have proven experience managing online communities on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Discord. You’re passionate about casual mobile games and stay up to date on gaming trends.
