Game Marketing Internship

Iceberg Interactive seeks a creative, game-loving second or third-year student for a game marketing internship!

As part of the marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Community Manager to promote our broad line of indie games by creating engaging content across platforms like TikTok, Reddit, Twitter, and Discord.

Responsibilities include producing viral content, interacting with the gaming community, and experimenting with new ideas in digital marketing. You’ll also assist in testing games and collaborating with the production team to understand the full process of indie game development and marketing. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy individual passionate about trends, memes, and independent video games.

Internship tasks:

• Plan, ideate, create, and schedule social media content (videos, images, etc.)
• Stay up-to-date with the latest online trends
• Collaborate with the developers of our games
• Monitor social media channels
• Help to develop and implement our marketing plans
• Test and assess new video games

What we’re looking for:

• You are a college or university (HBO or WO) student enrolled in a study that is relevant to this internship (communication, marketing, content, etc.)
• You are legally entitled to study/work in the Netherlands
• You have a passion for video games and curiosity about the industry behind them
• You are creative at heart and love making things
• You are always up-to-date on what’s happening on social media
• You are proactive and aren’t afraid to pitch your ideas
• You are able to travel to Haarlem on a sustainable, daily basis
• Experience with programs like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects is a plus
• Suitable for English speakers: Yes

This internship is for a duration of at least 5 months and starts in February 2025.
