We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Installer to join our team. This role involves installing various types of garage doors, ensuring they function correctly, and providing excellent customer service throughout the installation process.

Responsibilities

• Install garage doors and related hardware according to specifications and safety standards.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing garage doors as needed.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure all installations are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
• Fabricate components as necessary for custom installations.
• Conduct inspections of installed doors to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.

Skills

• Proficiency in heavy lifting, as the role requires moving large garage door components.
• Experience with fixture installation, including mechanical systems related to garage doors.
• Strong building skills with an understanding of construction principles.
• Ability to fabricate parts when required for unique installations or repairs.
• Background in carpentry or maintenance person services is highly desirable.
• Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
