Gardener

We are currently recruiting for a Gardener to join our team. A passion for horticulture and drive to achieve results are essential for this role.

This role will be based between the Hotel and The Reserve

Main Duties:

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and plants around the hotel property.
• Water plants, lawns, and landscaped areas regularly.
• Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants to enhance the appearance of the hotel grounds.
• Prune trees, hedges, and bushes to keep them healthy and well-shaped.
• Remove weeds, dead plants, and fallen leaves.
• Apply fertilizers, compost, and soil treatments when necessary.
• Monitor plants for pests and diseases and apply appropriate treatments.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
• Ensure walkways, garden areas, and outdoor spaces are clean and safe for guests.
• Assist with landscaping projects and garden design improvements.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge of gardening, landscaping, and plant care.
• Ability to use gardening tools and machinery safely.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain neat outdoor spaces.
• Previous gardening or landscaping experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
